Fifteen years ago I traveled to Italy with my Husband and five year old son and I must say I’ve been longing to go back for another Italian adventure ever since that trip! Life unfortunately has been getting in the way all these years, and our plans to go back for another three week excursion has continued to be put on hold until now. We are finally starting to plan our much anticipated trip back to Italy!
Throughout the planning process I have discovered many dreamy Italian countryside Villas that have inspired my design senses and reawakened my love for the rustic simplicity and welcoming feeling that this “Lifestyle” evokes in my heart! I wanted to share some of these heart warming Italian flavored inspirations with my readers!
I myself come from an Italian background. My Father is Italian and his Mother’s family is from Genoa, Italy. My heart just feels more at home when I have some of these influences in my spaces, making me feel more connected to my Italian heritage.
We can all gain insight into where we want to take our design direction by getting lost in other cultures and how they live in their spaces. I love getting to experience another countries organic way of living!
