Every woman deserves a special place where she can display her favorite “Boudoir Goodies”, such as her perfumes, lotions, jewelry, scented candles, a decorative mirror. This could be a “Vanity” or a if space is an issue, a large bedside table works just as well! Desks in a bedroom can do double duty and function as both a vanity and a work area.
Our grandmothers had lovely vanities, where they kept special mementos and ornate silver mirror & brush sets. There were various kinds of jewelry boxes all displayed proudly to hold all those dramatic costume jewelry pieces, Brooches, Hat pins and cocktail rings! Glamour was the all the style back then! Romance reigned supreme in the world of the “Vanity” back in our grandparents era.
Let’s give ourselves the gift of honoring our femininity and find a spot in our bedrooms to create some beauty for all the treasures, that make us feel lovely & pampered!
